Some Things I Use to Help Manage my Chronic Pain

As a follow-up to last week's blog about the things we use to manage our Fibromyalgia symptoms, I wanted to share some of the things I use to help me with my chronic pain.

Foam Roller

I recently got a foam roller, which is commonly used for balance, strengthening, flexibility, and rehab exercises,  and so far I really like it! These have recently become more popular and are getting more and more available.

Acupressure Mat and Pillow

Acupressure mats help to naturally reduce muscle tension, and back pain, and are available online and in stores.

Yoga mats are everywhere and in every color and design so you can choose one that resonates with you.

I like to use my yoga mat over a rug for extra cushion when I need it.

Muscle Roller

I use this because it helps release trigger points and massage muscles.

Golf & Tennis Balls

I use golf balls and tennis balls for the same reason I use the muscle roller, to release trigger points and massage muscles. They work great for your back, hands, and feets.

I hope these tips help! Let us know what tools you use to help you manage your chronic pain in the comments below!

Gentle hugs,

Heather, Fabulous Fibro-Fighter and FSC Founder
