Enjoying the Magnolia Blossoms was such a Treat

When you struggle with Fibromyalgia, Anxiety, and Depression it can be hard to get out of the house. Between pain, fatigue, and the occasional bout of ennui, I don’t get out as much as I would like.

Today however, I took advantage of a low symptom day and went to check out the magnolia blossoms (now in bloom!) at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens, and wow did it do the trick.
Sometimes, getting out in nature is the best thing we can do to shake off the cobwebs. I love a botanical garden because there are lots of benches and well-worn or paved paths. It’s not abnormal to stop and relax (or rest/recover) in a garden, and it’s beautiful and soothing in a way only a lovely garden can be.

As I strolled along today, stopping to rest occasionally, I was happy to see several people who used canes, wheelchairs and other mobility devices today in a place of so much beauty at such a wonderful time- it really made my heart smile that everyone could enjoy such a magical place and made my experience that much better.

I included some pictures of my outing below, I hope you enjoy them!
