This has been a crazy week! Work has been gearing up for a big event, and of course there was the inevitable fire drill to make sure things went well. I've also been busy in the social aspect of my life as well. I got cast in a play and have been prioritizing meeting up with people and making new friends- and it has taken it's toll. As someone with Fibromyalgia I only have so many spoons to go around, and it's not always easy to live life with limited spoons. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to slow down, even if you don't want to. Today I took a bath, took a break to watch the World Cup Spain vs. Portugal game, and fully intend to take a nap before going out for dinner.
I may be a bit drained and not feeling my best today, but I'm doing the best I can with the spoons I have, and am resolved to not beat myself up about it- because beating myself up isn't going to change anything. Being positive and accepting of where I am and what I can accomplish hour by hour is my game plan for the day. Focusing on being the best version of yourself is all anyone can do. I hope you are all having a low-symptom day, and have plenty of spoons to go around, and if not, I hope you can embrace the spoons you do have 💜💜💜 - Heather, Fabulous Fibro-Fighter and FSC Founder
